WorkTango's Logic Editor allows you to create a custom question flow based on an employee's response to survey questions. For example, if an employee answers "yes" to a question, you can setup a follow-up question to capture more input.
Setting Up Logic Based Questions
Build out your survey questions.
In the build stage, navigate to the "Logic Editor" tab and click on "Add Logic."
You will be given an option to select a question that you can build logic for. Once you've selected your question, an "If response =" option will show up for you to select the dependency for the question. Select the answer that should lead to displaying your logic based question.
After you've selected the "If response," you will need to select which question you would like to display through the "Display Question" drop down. Once you've made the selection, click on "Save Logic" to save the configuration.
In this example, we've setup logic so that if an employee selects a 1 for question 4, the follow-up question they will receive will be question 39.
If you'd like to add multiple conditions (ie. have a follow-up question be displayed for many different responses to a question), you will want to click on the "Add Condition" button. This will require you to individually add all the other answer options you'd like the display using the "If response" drop down.
In this example, we've setup logic so that if an employee selects a 1 or a 2 for question 4, the follow-up question they will receive will be question 39.
Once your logic is saved, you can always come back to edit it using the "Edit" button, or delete the logic using the "Delete" icon. To preview the survey and how logic will show display, you can click on the "Preview" button beside the survey's name.
